How to do it?

1. First, put on a pot to boil eggs. You would want these eggs to be hard boil and not soft boil, so their egg whites are stable enough for the pickling process. After 10 minutes, they are ready to be used.

2. While boiling eggs, prepare your glass jar and vinegar. You need to rinse it through hot water to sterile it before putting eggs in for a pint jar.

For the vinegar, you must choose the right vinegar to produce your eggs’ desired taste. Usually, I would use cider or white vinegar as it has a rounded flavor.

3. Once you have found the vinegar you like, boil 1 liter of vinegar and simmer for 1 minute. At this stage, you can put in some chili flakes, dill pepper, or peppercorn to produce a sharper taste.

Pickled products bring a unique flavor to a variety of meals and snacks. However, it is one of the classic methods of preserving and extending the shelf life of food in the world. It used to be the only food supply that can last long during long cruises.

This method works by providing the acidity of vinegar solution, vinegar brine, or any pickling brine for eggs to suppress the growth of bacteria. The acidity brings a certain pH rate to control the pathogen, specifically Clostridium botulinum, which is the cause of botulism in pickling products.
